Profhilo is quickly becoming very popular and with increased hype, it's no wonder as it contains the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) on the market. HA is naturally found in our body and skin but we break it down through the ageing process over the years and produce less. Profhilo will help replace lost HA and targets dullness and acts to improve the tone and texture of your skin.
Profhilo will help hydrate and plump tired looking dull skin with fine lines. Also, it has bioremodelling properties and will act to increase collagen and elasticity (often lost through ageing process). Results with Profhilo cannot be achieved with skincare alone! Profhilo is essentially an injectable moisturiser which is hydrating the skin from within instead of relying on the skin to absorb HA. Treatments offer little downtime and two sessions are required to get the maximal results. Each session is 4-6 weeks apart.
Maintenance treatments are optional and can be one treatment every 6-12 months.
What Does Profhilo Treatments Involve?
Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment which provides your skin with a highly effective ‘boost’. Normally carried out in 2 sessions over a four-week period, your skilled specialist will carefully inject Profhilo into the treatment area just below the skin’s surface where it will quickly get to work to hydrate your skin. Skin will be left feeling tightened and glowing.
Maintenance treatments are required and can be repeated every six months.
Can I Return to Work After a Profhilo Treatment?
Absoloutley! Profhilo Treatments offer minimal downtime. However, it is recommended that the following aftercare advice is followed:
· Avoid heavy work & physical strain following a treatment – light duties only
· Avoid saunas & hot baths
· Avoid excess sun exposure for the first few days after treatment
Is Profhilo Better Than Fillers?
Profhilo works as a skin hydrator rather than a dermal filler. If smooth skin texture and fewer fine lines is what you hope to achieve along with a brighter, rejuvenated complexion, then Profhilo Injections are an excellent choice. Also, it works really well in conjunction with other treatments if required.
